Joanna Ahlin - Founder of Mountain Valley Bookkeeping
Growing up in the picturesque Flathead Valley, I developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a love for the close-knit community here. I graduated from Flathead High School, eager to see where life would lead. My journey took me to Illinois, where I met my husband, started a family, and spent over a decade managing hotels, learning the ins and outs of business operations and finance.
Eventually, the mountains called me back, and I returned home to Montana’s Flathead Valley. Once back, I worked for a small accounting firm, diving into bookkeeping and supporting local businesses. My experience and passion for helping others find financial clarity inspired me to branch out on my own, founding Mountain Valley Bookkeeping.
In addition to my work, I enjoy everything the Montana wilderness has to offer—from camping under starlit skies to gathering around a cozy fire, spending time on the water, and hunting. Mountain Valley Bookkeeping allows me to combine my love for the Flathead Valley and my commitment to helping local businesses thrive.
